Plainsgame Hunting Safaris in Namibia
Sangwali Safaris offers incredible plainsgame hunting on our private reserve in central Namibia. Although our area boasts amazing populations of game, our focus is always on ethical hunting practices and enjoyable hunting experiences for our clients. We strive to go above and beyond in our attention to detail and hospitality in order to provide the best hunting safaris in Namibia.

Hunt Expectations
Our plainsgame hunts are based out of our luxury hunting lodge that features all the amenities you could ask for. We have a team of 5 professional hunters who can assist up to 10 hunters on a 2:1 ratio. Clients are collected from the airport and can enjoy the scenery and breathtaking landscapes on the 3 hour drive from Windhoek to Sangwali.

Our Hunting Area
Our private farm covers 20,000 hectares with an additional 50,000 hectares of surrounding properties at our disposal, and the option of hunting both fenced and unfenced areas. The terrain at Sangwali is not physically demanding, however, should you wish to hunt Mountain zebra in our nearby area in more mountainous terrain, you will need to be in fairly good physical condition.
Sangwali is primarily a rifle hunting area, but for a hunter who also wants to use archery equipment, pop-up blinds can be placed at strategic water points which produce excellent bow hunting results. The terrain at Sangwali is also quite suitable for walk-and-stalk bow hunting, although always a challenging undertaking.
Plainsgame Hunting Packages
Sangwali Safaris offers several different plainsgame hunting packages, as well as traditional a-la-carte hunts, to meet each client's needs and preferences. Hunts can also be customized and combined with a dangerous game hunt or photographic tour per the client's request.
Plainsgame Species Available at Sangwali
Sangwali Safaris is either home to, or has nearby access to, 20+ African plainsgame species and several predators. If there is an animal that you wish to hunt but is not shown on this list, feel free to contact us with a custom request and we can do our best to accommodate your needs within our network of hunting areas across Namibia.
